Aufgaben:
  • Lead and manage the global R&D teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
  • Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the business objective
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of R&D projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Closely collaborate with product management to innovate according to customers' added value and create pain reliefers and gain creators
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure successful product development and commercialization
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to identify opportunities for new technologies and products
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Manage the R&D budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Mentor and develop R&D staff, promoting professional growth and development
  • Maintain the global R&D dashboard to ensure full transparency of the R&D, engineering, and lifecycle activities
Qualifikationen:
  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree with a technical focus
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the tech industry
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a leading, comparable management function
  • Compelling leadership skills, conceptual strengths, deep knowledge and experience in R&D leadership roles, preferably in a global setting
  • Proven track record of successful product development (finished projects) and innovation.
  • Strategic, analytical thinking with simultaneous implementation orientation
  • In-depth knowledge in the development of electronic & mechatronic assemblies as well as hardware & software-based solutions
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Initiative, ability to work under pressure, interdisciplinary working style
  • Willingness to travel and intercultural competence
  • A customer-oriented and structured approach, coupled with a high level of assertiveness
  • Communication skills and social intelligence
